I'm having trouble entering your Monthly Contest!

If you are not registered and logged into the site and the current month's contest does not allow guest entries (some do) then you will get this error:

You must be registered
and logged in to enter.

Please Log In / register and try again

If you have an account with us already, simply use the Log In link to access your account and try to click the link to enter the contest again. You should get to a page that begins with:

Welcome to our Monthly Contest!

Each month we have a drawing and give away a prize to one lucky customer. Each month the prize is different, and so are the entry requirements. Sometimes the contest is only open to customers who have written a product review that month, or customers who have made a purchase that month. Sometimes the contest is open to guests as well...

I logged in and I still can't enter because I haven't written a review!

One of the types of contests we run is to reward people for providing valuable feedback on our lip balm products. These contests are restricted to registered customers who have left a product review during the contest's timeframe. If you haven't written a review, you will see this message:

You have a couple of options: 1) (my favorite) you could go and write a review of your favorite lip balm and become eligible to enter the contest, or 2) you could wait until the next month's contest started, as we won't run review contests back to back.

How will I know if I won?

We will notify contest winners by email to the email address they provided when they entered. If that email bounces due to being an invalid address, we will draw a new winner.

How will I know who did win, if it wasn't me?

You can go to the Contest Winners page at any time to see who has won past contests, and what prizes they won.

What about the winner's privacy? 

We will only display the first name, last initial, and the location if we know it (for example, if the winner is a registered customer, and their shipping address in our records says they live in Florida, we wil list them as "John. S. from Florida." We will never post any more identifying information than that, to protect your privacy. We do reserve the right to publicise the winner via Facebook, Twitter, or other social media, but we will follow the same privacy rules in terms of what information we post.

How are the winners chosen?

We use a contest application that ties in with the website's database and it randomly chooses a winner when the time comes. No humans are ever involved in the choosing beyond pushing the "select a winner" button on the Admin console for the contest.
