What is the Reward Point Program?
Our Reward PointsProgram is here to give you something back for being a loyal customer. Our program is simple. For everything you purchase as a logged-in, registered customer at the Opal Essence All Natural store, you will earn points. Once earned, you'll be able to use those points to pay for future purchases. A minimum balance of 300 points is required to begin spending your points toward purchases.
How does the Program work?
When an order is placed, the total amount of the order will be used to calculate the amount of points earned. These points are added to your Reward Points account as pending points. All pending points are listed in your Side Cart and will stay there until your order has been completed (shipped) at which point they move from Pending to Earned. Reward points never expire and can be accumulated until you decide to use them. You must be logged in to your account to view the status of your points and to use them on purchases.
Points and Values
Currently, you earn 10 points for every dollar you spend. 100 points is worth a dollar toward your purchase. This means that you only need just over 300 points to pay for a new tube of lip balm (at $3—lip balms are all priced differently) using 100% points. You earn 300 points by spending just $30 in our shop. Hint: Buy Gift Certificates for your friends and family to earn points fast!
Important note: Currently Amazon Checkout does not support our Reward Points Program—you will not earn the points in your cart if you checkout using the Amazon Checkout button. You must use either Opal Essence Checkout, Google Checkout, or PayPal Checkout to get Reward Points credited to you for your purchases.
How do I use my Reward Points on purchases?
If you have a balance over 300 in your Reward Points Account, you can use those points to pay for purchases made at Opal Essence.
At the Shopping Cart page, you MUST choose "Opal Essence Checkout"—you cannot redeem Reward Points through Amazon, Google, or PayPal direct checkout (you can pay using PayPal through Opal Essence Checkout). During the checkout proccess, on the same page that you select a payment method, there will be a box to select if you wish to use your points, as well as information on the total amount of points available. Please note, you will still have to select another payment method if there is not enough in your Reward Points Account to cover the cost of your purchase.
Continue the checkout procedure and at the confirmation page you'll notice that the value of the points redeemed will have been credited towards your order. Once you confirm your order, your Reward Points account will be updated and the points used deducted from your balance.
Minimum Points Required
Currently, a minimum balance of 300 points ($3.00) is required before you can redeem them.
Minimum Purchase Amount Required
Currently, a minimum purchase amount of $5 is required to redeem your points.
Maximum Points Redeemptions allowed per order
Currently, there is no maximum amount of points you can redeem per order.
Will I earn points for shipping fees?
No. When calculating the amount of points earned. shipping fees are excluded.
Will I earn points for tax fees?
No. When calculating the amount of points earned. Taxes are excluded.
Will I earn points for discounted products?
Yes. When calculating the amount of points earned. All items which their price have been discounted are included, points will be awarded for the discount price value.
Will I earn points when purchases paid with points?
Yes.
Products Restrictions
Currently, you may pay for everything except Gift Certificates with your Reward Points.
Conditions of Use
- Reward Points are only available to registered Opal Essence All Natural customers.
- Reward Points Reward can only be collected and used with online purchases made through www.OpalEssenceShop.com. They cannot, for example, be redeemed at the Opal Essence Etsy shop.
- Points can't be transferred between customers.
- Reward Points have no cash value; they may not be redeemed for cash. You may not use more points for your order than your order's total and hope to get the balance in cash.
- Reward Points will not be refunded for any cancelled order.
- When buying with Points,you will still have to select another payment method if there is not enough in your Reward Points Account to cover the cost of your purchase.
- When calculating the amount of points earned. shipping fees and taxes are excluded.
