Shipping and Delivery
We ship within 1-3 business days via USPS. Your chosen shipping method and your location will determine delivery time. A $1.00 handling fee is charged per order. Note that if you want tracking (really just shipped/delivered confirmation notification) you must choose Priority or Express Mail. First Class does not offer tracking, only Certified and Registered mail, which really aren't worth it (though if for some reason you really want it, contact me and we'll work it out).*
Domestic USPS Shipping Options are:
First-Class Mail (2 - 5 days)
Priority Mail (2 - 3 days)
Express Mail (1 - 2 days)
NOTE: If you are using Google or Amazon checkout, they will default to Express Mail!
Double check to make sure you are getting the shipping option you want!
International USPS Shipping Options are:
First Class Mail International Parcel (time varies by location)
Priority Mail International Flat Rate Envelope (6 - 10 business days)
Priority Mail International Padded Flat Rate Envelope (6 - 10 business days)
Priority Mail International Flat Rate Small Box (6 - 10 business days)
Express Mail International Flat Rate Envelope (3 - 5 business days)
If you are ordering a custom lip balm, please allow 3-7 days for your lip balm to be made in addition to the shipping and delivery time.
* Update: I may start sharing my dad's Stamps.com account, which he says WILL do tracking on First Class mail. If I do this, your tracking info email and such will come from his company's name, not Opal Essence All Natural. We're still working out those details.
Returns and Cancelations
We accept returns only when the wrong product was shipped. Product must be returned in original condition (seal must not be broken on lip balm tubes). Original and return shipping is refunded in the case of wrong product shipment. If an exchange is requested instead of a refund, the refund will be the difference, if any, between what was originally charged and what should have been charged for the order, and the corrected order will be shipped upon receipt of the wrong items at our cost.
Orders canceled within 48 hours can be refunded. Orders canceled before shipping will not be charged. Orders canceled after shipping must be returned in the unopened original shipping mailer for full refund which we will process upon receipt of your return. If the shipping mailer has been opened you will be responsible for shipping costs. The product must be in new, sealed, and undamaged condition.
To initiate a return or refund, contact us about the problem. We will assign you an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number. Then you can print out a return shipping label and follow the directions on the printed label sheet. Write the RMA number in the box, cut out the label and attach it to your return envelope. Be sure to put appropriate postage on the envelope or the Post Office will not deliver it. If you are due to recieve reimbursement for return shipping, that will be processed when we receive your return.
